About Me

My name is Bob Parsons, and I reside in northeast Nebraska with my triplet sons and our two beloved turtles, Rocky and ‘LowMo. While not a native Nebraskan, I have called this state home for the majority of my life, with brief absences during my infancy and the early years of my children’s lives.

My professional journey encompasses a diverse background including broadcasting, sound technician, director in theaters, and mobile DJ for many years. Transitioning into education, I initially began as an English Teacher before embracing the role of a stay-at-home dad upon the arrival of my boys.

Beyond my professional pursuits, I am deeply passionate about Star Wars, comic books, and LEGO, and I pride myself on possessing a wealth of eclectic knowledge that would undoubtedly enrich any Pub Trivia team.

Currently, I hold the positions of Director of the Laurel Community Learning Center and District Librarian for the Laurel Concord Coleridge School District, where I am committed to fostering a culture of lifelong learning and academic excellence within our community.
